You might have noticed that i’m posting less frequently in the last couple of days. Reason is quite simple. I’m back from vacation on a new project. This means simply that i have less time to update the blog.

Using my iPod touch (2nd gen) as my new home phone thanks to the Fritz!App Fon App. I also using my iPod less for listening to music but more for audio podcasts (e.g. CCC) and iTunes U. Great free content available under iTunes U. Negative is the short battery life, especially when using wifi and the limited storage of 16GB. Beside of that, the touch provides value for money.

• Currently considering to buy a NAS (Synology DS211J + 2x 3TB HDs in a Raid 1 configuration). Any opinions?
• Any recommendations for a good (free) Mac OS FTP client?
• A embedded 3G Modem would be a huge plus for the MacBook Air
• Using prefetching for the blog  (currently only supported in Firefox and Chrome)
• Ideas for disruptive innovations: <100$ iPhone, Abandon DRM, Symetrical Access Bandwidth…
