Using my iPod touch (2nd gen) as my new home phone thanks to the Fritz!App Fon App. I also using my iPod less for listening to music but more for audio podcasts (e.g. CCC) and iTunes U. Great free content available under iTunes U. Negative is the short battery life, especially when using wifi and the limited storage of 16GB. Beside of that, the touch provides value for money.
