Several weeks ago i was in the lucky position recieving a registration code for google analytics, one of the newest, highly sophisticated online toys from google. After testing the service for several weeks i was a little bit disappointed. The service is slow and you will get tons of information – simply information overload. The application is more like a data warehouse for professional internet shopping sites.
To speed up the load process i quickly disabled google analytics and switched to Slimstat. This small statistic script is speedy and delivers a nice & comprehensive summary of the most important site metrics. Take a look for yourself
