Question: How long can i resist Twitter? It’s a great source for near real-time news. Great for content discovery and to stay up-to-date.
I reduced my engagement level on FB nearly to zero. Perhaps i’m too old or my friends and colleagues are not nerdy enough, but most of them are keeping a low profile on FB or are not really active.

Just for curiosity. Recently i was thinking about the differences between the old Bulletin Board Systems (BBS) and today’s Content Management Systems (CMS). Probably there is no much difference. Both systems are somehow frameworks/systems that help to organize information and present them. In the old world we had ANSI or RIP graphics, nowadays we have HTML + CSS. The real difference is that the first one was based on Plain old telephony service (POTS) and now everything is Internet based. I still remember the old days with dial-up modems and terminal programs. Today we have broadband internet connections and the browser. In the early days with metered internet, being online was a valuable thing. Now with flat-rates, i can go online whenever i want for as long as i want.

Design reset. Upgraded to the latest version of the P2 theme. Thought it might be the moment to change the design for another time. Expect some visual changes over the next coming days.

Today E3 starts. Probably one of the most interesting conferences over the last few years. Microsoft with Project Natal (now called Kinect), a Slim Xbox360?, Sony PS3 price drop?, Nintendo presenting the new 3D Handheld for the first time…looking forward to all the announcements this week.

Back in Germany. Nice weather, start of the tournament for the German team, Formula 1…good to be back
