Album of the week: The Evolution of Robin Thicke
Robin Thicke – Vielleicht noch ein Geheimtip in Sachen R&B. Aktuell läuft die Single “Lost Without U” auf VH1 rauf und runter. Prädikat Wertvoll! 🙂
“Lost Without U” became Thicke’s first number one hit on the R&B singles chart and he became the first white male artist since George Michael to top the chart.

Tune of the week: Eric Prydz “Proper Education” Mix
Zwar schon Anfang des Jahres veröffentlicht, dennoch ist die Scheibe einfach ein Hammer vor dem Herren. Perfekter Mix von einem der Pink Floyd Klassiker schlechthin. Echt eine Schande das es in Riyadh keine Clubs gibt. Wenn die Jungs hier wüssten was Ihnen entgeht. Hier ein Zitat für die HH Crew “Wir brauchen Bass, Bass…”
Btw. Bin wieder zurück in Riyadh nach einer Woche Heimaturlaub. Daher auch keine Einträge in der letzten Woche.

Tiesto Album “Elements of Life”
Das neue Tiesto Album wird laut Amazon am 6.4. veröffentlicht. Meine Person ist am 5.4. wieder zurück in Deutschland. Yes! Mit dem Album kann ich sicherlich den angesammelten Staub aus meinem Subwoofer pusten. Der Vorteil, meine Nachbarn wissen dann auch das ich wieder zurück bin und es wieder kostenlose Beschallung gibt.
Ich habe heute auch noch einmal mein Saudi Compound Studio mit einem kleinen 2.1 Boxen Set aufgerüstet. Schließlich werde ich noch bis Ende Juni hier sein. Wenn es schon keine öffentlichen Party’s gibt, dann doch zumindestens bei mir in den eigenen vier Wänden.
Das kleine Set macht schön gehörig Krach! Insbesondere der Bass kommt recht satt und kräftig. Die beiden Hochtöner klingen zudem erstaunlich klar. Natürlich darf mein keine Wunder erleben. Für den kleinen Hörgenuss aber auf jeden Fall ausreichend.
Hier noch ein aktuelles Foto von heute. Blauer Himmel, Sonnenschein bei 28 Grad und kein Regen in Sicht.
Nicht schlecht werdet ihr jetzt denken. So lässt es sich gut aushalten. Noch! Vor den richtigen Temperaturen (>50 Grad) habe ich auf jeden Fall schon einmal gehörig respekt. Wenn mir schon Saudis sagen, das Sie die Temperaturen kaum aushalten, dann ist da sicher schon was wahres dran.

Apple iPhone – Simply awesome
There are moments in life were history is made. I think today is such a day. Steve Jobs presented his product vision for a mobile handset during his Keynote for the Macworld 2007. And i have to admit that i’m fully blown away. I mean i have seen a lot of nice electronic gadgets in my life and i self would me describe as geek in terms of cellphones, video games devices, pc’s…but today is the first time since many years that i got this special feeling that something big has happened. The iPhone is absolutely gorgeous. No question, no doubt. Apple has a vision that is far beyond anything that i have ever seen from the Nokia’s, Samsung’s or Motorola’s in the World. But please see for yourself below some of the first pictures:
From the technical specfication it is also amazing. This first iPhone has a Wifi interface, a gorgeous touchscreen, 8gig, bluetooth, quadband GSM + Edge, external Speaker, 3.5mm ear jack, OS X – and it is razor blade thin! The only thing that this device is lacking is a camera. I have to corret me, based on the information from Heise Online the device has a 2mp Camera module.
